Top 5 Food and Drink Apps on Android in Costa Rica, Q4 2022

In the fourth quarter of 2022, the top Food and Drink apps on the Android platform in Costa Rica showed diverse trends in both weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the leading apps, as reported by Sensor Tower.

PedidosYa - Delivery Online consistently saw weekly downloads ranging from around 5.1K to 7.9K throughout the quarter. Active users fluctuated between 170K and 188K, peaking at approximately 188K in the final week of December.

DiDi Food: Express Delivery experienced a decline in weekly downloads, starting at 8K and dropping to about 4.7K by the end of the quarter. Active users also saw a decrease from around 160K in late September to 152K in late December.

McDonald's Offers and Delivery had a stable download performance, with weekly downloads increasing from 3.4K to 6.3K. Active users grew from 21.8K to 26.4K, showing a positive trend throughout the period.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery maintained a consistent download rate, fluctuating between 3.3K and 4.7K weekly. Active users varied slightly, peaking at around 63.5K in late October and dropping to approximately 56.5K by the end of December.

Taco App CR saw weekly downloads ranging from 2.7K to 6.6K, with a notable peak in late October. Active users were relatively stable, hovering around 22K to 28K, with the highest count in late October.
